What you will do:
- Manage and oversee staff to ensure the effective delivery of services to children, young people, and their families, maintaining high standards of social work practice.
- Lead and monitor staff in maintaining comprehensive records on relevant systems, ensuring the voice of every child is captured.
- Assist the Service Manager and Head of Service in service planning and development, addressing emerging needs and challenges.
- Manage budgets efficiently and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Produce detailed reports and represent the team at various meetings and forums.
- Chair and participate in multi-disciplinary teams, facilitating cross-agency collaboration.
- Provide supervision and encourage professional growth within your team.
- Promote engaging and purposeful work practices with children, young people, and families.
- Be prepared to work outside typical office hours, including on-call duties, and travel as needed across the borough and nationally.
