SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

Job Title – Supply Chain Coordinator
Location – Erith, Kent
Salary – £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Shift – Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Job Role of the Supply Chain Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing and well-established food manufacturing business. Freshasia Foods is a leading producer of authentic frozen Asian food products and continues to expand its operations, creating excellent opportunities for individuals looking to develop their career within purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.

You will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and production consumables, helping to support efficient manufacturing operations and maintain uninterrupted production. Working closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and external suppliers, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Supply Chain Coordinator

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or production coordination within a manufacturing environment.

• Fluent Mandarin speaker.

• Strong organisational skills with experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and stock levels.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements for the Supply Chain Coordinator

• Experience raising and tracking purchase orders.

• Ability to manage material availability and supplier performance.

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and external suppliers.

• Experience supporting inventory control and production planning activities.
