This opportunity allows you to work in Hounslow House, located at 7 Bath Road (TW3 3EB). What you will do:
- Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments to ensure child safety and well-being.
- Undertake Section 47 Child protection investigations and gather comprehensive information.
- Prepare and write detailed Statements for court proceedings.
- Complete Section 7 and 37 reports for court requirements.
- Represent the authority in court by providing clear and accurate evidence.
- Carry out home visits to monitor and safeguard children, maintaining up-to-date case records.
- Convening and chairing core group meetings and liaising with other professionals for cohesive action plans.
- Conduct joint investigations and interviews alongside police efforts.
- Starting and executing care proceedings and reviewing and implementing Care Plans effectively.
- Oversee contact sessions and prepare case conference reports, attending relevant meetings.
- Formulate and complete Child in Need plans to aid families.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work, with current Social Work England registration.
- Demonstrate significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
