What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for children in need of protection, implementing creative strategies to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with families, colleagues, and agencies to create tailored support plans that best meet the needs of the children.
- Take a lead in Court cases, presenting evidence and statements that influence positive outcomes for families and children.
- Participate in team meetings and reflective supervision to continually improve practice and service delivery.
- Support looked after children, ensuring their voices are heard and their life plans reflect their best interests.
Requirements:
- You must be registered with Social Work England.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Possess UK Qualified experience in Social Work with a focus on Family Safeguarding.
- Candidates must have experience in Court work, Child Protection, and with Children Looked After.
