Social Worker - Safeguarding Team - Brent (UK) - £37.52 per hour - Ongoing Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in the bustling London Borough of Brent. This ongoing contract offers flexibility with full-time core hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, but flexible start and finish times are available, such as 8 am to 6 pm for four days a week, or part-time hours if needed. Based at the innovative Brent Civic Centre (HA9 0FJ), this role guarantees a competitive hourly rate of £37.52.

What you will do:
- Engage with children, families, and other support networks to assess and address safeguarding concerns.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that every plan is tailored to individual client needs while meeting statutory requirements.
- Liaise with other professionals, including healthcare providers and educators, to provide holistic protection for clients.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports for case meetings.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to less experienced team members.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in social work as well as current Social Work England registration. Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker is essential. Your ability to manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism will make you a great fit for this role.
