What you will do:
Conduct thorough assessments of children and families referred to the service, ensuring all interventions are timely and effective. Collaborate with other professionals to develop care plans that meet the needs of children and their families. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Provide support and guidance to families, helping them to access additional resources and services as needed. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the services provided. Advocate for the welfare and protection of children, ensuring they are at the heart of all decision-making processes.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
A degree or equivalent qualification in social work is essential. Candidates must have current Social Work England registration. Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker is required.
