What you will do:
- Provide a high-quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of children, young people, and families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines, policies, and standards.
- Assess need, plan, and deliver focused intervention and family support to safeguard and protect children and young people and promote positive outcomes.
- Work to models of best practice and actively promote and adopt integrated approaches for the benefit of children, young people, and their families.
- Understand and promote the core business of the Torbay Safeguarding Children Partnership and deliver its priorities.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker.
