What you will do:
- Conduct strengths-based assessments, care planning, and direct work with adults with care and support needs along with their carers, in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
- Improve outcomes for adults by effectively identifying and addressing their needs and support requirements.
- Undertake safeguarding duties to protect adults from abuse or neglect and ensure their well-being.
- Practice social work in a transparent, accountable, and ethical manner.
- Collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality social care services.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE LEARNING DISABILITIES EXPERIENCE and a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in social work for adults is essential.
- Drivers are essential for this role, as it involves travel within the West Midlands area.
