Job Title: Social Worker (Children’s Services)
Location: Salisbury (SP1 3UZ)
Pay Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary (06 April 2026 – 04 July 2026)
Hours: Full-Time – 37 hours per week (09:00 – 17:00)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (Approx. 50% office-based)

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join a supportive Children’s Services team in Salisbury. This is a great opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families, delivering meaningful interventions and making a real impact.

The Role

In this position, you will support children from pre-birth through to 18 years old, working within a patch-based model that helps you build strong, consistent relationships with families.

The service follows a “one journey, one worker” approach, ensuring continuity of care and support. You will manage a varied caseload, including more complex cases, while working closely with a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and families, including complex cases

• Undertake safeguarding and child protection work

• Complete assessments, care plans, and reviews in line with statutory guidance

• Build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records

Key Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

• Experience within Children’s Services / Safeguarding

• Strong assessment and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to rural areas)
