Job Title: Social Worker – Children With Disabilities (CWD) Team

What You Will Do:
- Undertake Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments
- Conduct Section 47 child protection investigations
- Prepare court reports (Section 7 and 37) and provide evidence in court
- Carry out home visits to monitor and safeguard children’s wellbeing
- Develop, implement, and review Care Plans
- Lead and participate in core group meetings and case conferences
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including police
- Manage care proceedings from initiation through to completion
- Maintain accurate and detailed case records
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within Children’s Services, particularly disabilities and safeguarding
- Strong assessment, report writing, and court work experience
- Ability to manage complex caseloads effectively
