What you will do:

• Lead the SEND improvement programme, delivering against the Written Statement of Action (WSoA) and inspection outcomes.

• Provide strategic oversight of EHCP processes, ensuring quality assurance, timeliness, and statutory compliance.

• Drive service transformation and performance improvement using data, audits, and feedback to implement change.

• Collaborate with education settings, health partners, and parent/carer forums to co-produce improvements.

Person Specification:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in education, social care, or a related field

• Evidence of continued professional development

• Leadership or management qualification (desirable)

• Strong knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice (0–25 years), and Ofsted/CQC SEND inspection framework

• Enhanced DBS clearance (essential)
