Locum Job Opportunity: Social Worker within Adults Front Door Team in South Tyneside UK.

Earn £27.30 hourly as you embrace this full-time role from 20th April 2026 to 26th July 2026. What you will do:

- Undertake person-centred assessments and develop outcome-focused support plans
- Manage a varied caseload including complex cases and safeguarding work
- Promote independence using strengths-based and community-focused approaches
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
- Carry out reviews and ensure care packages remain appropriate and cost-effective
- Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports

Requirements:

- Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience within Adult Social Care including safeguarding and complex cases
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and strengths-based practice
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
