I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker within Adult Services for a fantastic opportunity in Beverley, offering a competitive rate of £32 per hour on an ongoing basis. Role Overview:
This role focuses on delivering high-quality social work interventions to support adults with care and support needs, promoting independence, wellbeing, and safety. You will be working autonomously while managing complex cases and collaborating with multi-agency partners.
What you will do:
- Safeguarding (Section 42): Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries in line with legislation, assess risks, and implement proportionate, person-centred safeguarding plans. Chair multi-agency meetings and case conferences, while producing clear, high-quality reports and decision-making records.
- Assessment and Care Planning: Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments, carers assessments, and mental capacity assessments. Manage a complex caseload with a focus on risk and outcomes, develop and review personalised care and support plans, and support access to services, community resources, and personal budgets.
- Professional Practice: Work independently using evidence-based practice and professional judgement, support colleagues and contribute to best practices, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and frameworks.
- Partnership Working: Collaborate closely with health professionals, police, housing, and voluntary services. Contribute to safeguarding and decision-making processes in multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Qualified Social Worker (Diploma or Degree in Social Work)
- Strong experience within Adult Services
- Experience in managing complex cases and safeguarding enquiries
- Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
