What you will do:
- Lead and manage a dynamic team of social workers within the Children's Disabilities team, ensuring high-quality service and support for children and families.
- Implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and the attainment of organisational objectives.
- Provide strong, supportive leadership and contribute to the development of team members through coaching and robust supervision.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including families, care providers, and other agencies, to deliver comprehensive and cohesive support plans.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance the team’s effectiveness.

Requirements for the Team Manager:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work, demonstrating a solid foundation and understanding of social work principles and practice.
- Current registration with Social Work England, indicating professional credibility and commitment to adhering to the highest standards.
- Recent and relevant managerial experience, such as working as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager in a children's services setting.
- Demonstrable frontline experience in Children’s Services, showing a strong track record of leadership and hands-on expertise.
