Job Details:

• Pay: £31,782.84 per annum
• Hours of Work: Quad Shift Pattern, 12-hour shifts, 6:00 am-6:00 pm / 6:00 pm-6:00 am, 36 hours a week
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Uniform and PPE provided, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role: The Skilled Machine Operator will operate production machinery to meet quality standards and production targets while minimising waste. Responsibilities include interpreting work instructions, maintaining pharmaceutical-grade housekeeping standards, following operating procedures and quality policies, and supporting machine performance through routine maintenance activities.

As a Skilled Machine Operator, you will also identify maintenance requirements and communicate any issues to supervisors or senior management.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Skilled Machine Operator within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ideally experienced within the print and packaging industry
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures accurately
• Ability to lift around 20KG 

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience working with a guillotine machine would be beneficial for a Skilled Machine Operator
• Previous experience as a wood machinist 

Additional Information

• The Skilled Machine Operator will work a rotating quad shift pattern covering both day and night shifts
