Exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker specialising in Children in Need and Child Protection in Uxbridge, earning £39.04 per hour on an ongoing contract! Based at The Civic Centre, Uxbridge (UB8 1UW), you will have the flexibility to choose from full-time hours or flexible working arrangements such as 8am to 6pm for four days a week or part-time options. What you will do:
- Identify, assess, and respond to the needs of children and families early on, promoting their safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
- Screen and triage contacts from the Front Door, assessing levels of risk and need, and ensuring proportionate responses inline with safeguarding thresholds and statutory guidance.
- Conduct Family Help assessments and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to bolster family resilience and prevent the need for statutory escalation.
- Manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases, collaborating with families and multi-agency professionals to safeguard children and support sustained change.
- Employ trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relationship-focused practice in all interactions with children and families.

Requirements include a degree in social work, current Social Work England registration, and significant frontline experience within UK social services as a qualified social worker.
