What you will do:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of children's needs and formulate effective intervention plans.
- Collaborate with various teams, including the Contextual Safeguarding and Court Teams, to deliver comprehensive child protection services.
- Engage with families, external agencies, and community-based organisations to provide holistic support and resources.
- Attend the office at least twice a week to participate in face-to-face supervision and team meetings.
- Ensure resilience and commitment are at the heart of all work with children and families.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Must hold a degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England is mandatory.
- Significant experience in front-line social services in the UK as a qualified social worker, with particular focus on child assessment and protection.
