Salary: €78,000
Shift: Panama Shift (Days and Nights)
Location: Ballymun, Dublin
A major distribution facility just outside Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical expertise. This position sits within a highly automated, high-volume environment where leadership, reliability and continuous improvement are essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Engineer:
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities with a strong focus on electrical systems
- Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team and support junior engineers
- Diagnose complex electrical faults, carry out high-level repairs and drive root-cause analysis
- Oversee improvement projects, contribute to equipment upgrades and influence long-term engineering strategy
- Work closely with operations to ensure safety, reliability and optimal performance across all automated assets
Requirements for the Senior Maintenance Engineer:
- Advanced electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Proven experience in automated, logistics, warehousing or FMCG environments
- Relevant electrical or mechatronics qualification
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor others in a fast-paced 24/7 operation
