Our client, a rapidly expanding player in the freight forwarding industry, is looking for a motivated and experienced Sea Import Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Felixstowe. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and monitor the entire sea import shipping process from start to finish.
  • Book shipments with contractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Prepare documentation for import clearance and arrange necessary deliveries (FCL & LCL cargoes).
  • Liaise with customers and consignees, maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate with Customs Authorities and Port Health to complete CHED documents.
  • Ensure all invoicing and purchase invoice processing is handled accurately and promptly.
  • Provide regular follow-up with customers and consignees to ensure seamless service.
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team to meet deadlines and targets.

     

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for candidates who have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and possess the following skills:

  • Strong sea import shipping experience with knowledge of customs clearance processes.
  • Good understanding of various customs procedures and regulations.
  • Expertise in Destin8, CNS, and Multifreight systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with completing CHED and IPAFFS documents.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and a self-driven approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
