What you will do:
- Provide support to individuals to help them reach their fullest potential and independence, following tailored care plans.
- Assist with access to social and leisure activities, including community outings and resource centre visits.
- Monitor individual emotional and physical well-being, ensuring protection and safety at all times, and reporting concerns to senior staff.
- Encourage and support individuals in making choices that respect their dignity, privacy, and personal preferences, guided by the care plan.
- Cultivate a respectful and warm environment, interacting professionally with adults, families, visitors, and colleagues within residential and community settings.

The Experience You Will Bring:
- Educated to RQF Level 2 (GCSE) or have equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a social care setting, ideally working with adults with disabilities, though a keen desire to learn and adapt is equally valuable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- A commitment to a person-centred approach, respecting dignity, privacy, and fostering choice.
- Familiarity with legislation related to vulnerable adults and a willingness to undergo further relevant training if needed.

Travel around Essex may be required, so a driving licence or adaptability to meet mobility requirements is essential.
