What You Will Do:

  • Register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager, ensuring the home consistently meets regulatory requirements.

  • Provide clear and effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff to uphold exceptional standards of care.

  • Implement and regularly update the home’s Statement of Purpose, ensuring alignment with its ethos and objectives.

  • Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and associated quality standards, including Ofsted notifications, actions, and inspection outcomes.

  • Manage and support staff in delivering personalised support packages through ongoing assessment and review of care plans.

  • Facilitate strong communication channels, incorporating feedback from children, young people, and families to drive continuous improvement.

  • Oversee performance management processes using data insights, Regulation 44 reports, and Ofsted findings to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

  • Maintain financial oversight, ensuring services operate within budget while delivering the highest value.

  • Lead on service planning, setting targeted goals and monitoring progress to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Conduct monthly case file audits, working with staff to address any areas for improvement.

  • Ensure safe and responsible medication management in line with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
