Bid Pricing Manager – Up to £70k-£90k + package – National (Remote)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Pricing Manager/Analyst to join a leading facilities management organisation, supporting bids and pricing across a range of public and private sector contracts. This role plays a pivotal part in developing commercially competitive and profitable bids, focusing on costing, financial modelling, commercial review, and risk analysis.
You will be a key member of collaborative bid teams—working from the initial bid stage through to contract award—helping shape solutions that meet client requirements while ensuring long-term, sustainable profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all pricing and commercial elements of bids.
 - Develop and own all financial models, pricing submissions, and supporting documentation.
 - Identify and analyse risks, opportunities, and data gaps within bid documentation.
 - Apply different pricing methodologies (top-down, bottom-up) and commercial models to build robust costings.
 - Collaborate closely with bid managers, solutions leads, and wider business stakeholders, including Legal, HR, and Operations.
 - Support the internal commercial sign-off process by preparing accurate P&Ls, cashflows, and benchmarking analyses.
 - Chair financial workshops and support presentations, negotiations, and client discussions.
 - Contribute to continuous improvement of the pricing function through knowledge sharing and best practice.
 
Ideal Bid Pricing Manager:
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in estimating, pricing, or business analysis within Facilities Management or a similar industry.
 - Track record of contributing to winning bids and accurate financial modelling.
 - Skilled in employing a range of commercial models and pricing methodologies.
 - Strong analytical and financial modelling ability with high attention to detail.
 - Confident communicator, able to influence and present at all business levels.
 - Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
 - Commercially astute with sound understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow principles.
 - Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach.
