What You Will Do

  • Manage Caseloads: Take on statutory social work duties and manage a caseload of children in care. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop detailed care plans.

  • Permanency Planning: Focus on creating secure, stable futures for children, developing care plans that ensure permanency and long-term security.

  • Build Relationships: Conduct regular visits and build trusting, supportive relationships with children, their families, and external professionals.

  • Collaborate with Agencies: Work closely with foster care services, health professionals, and other relevant agencies to ensure the holistic needs of each child are met.

  • Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding procedures and manage risks to ensure the protection of children in care.

  • Supervision & Development: Participate in professional supervision and development, continually enhancing your skills and maintaining best practice.
