Production Team Leader
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week - Days & Noons

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to join their growing team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring production schedules are achieved efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily and weekly production plans to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Lead, motivate, and support production teams to achieve performance goals and maintain high morale
• Ensure all production activities comply with Health & Safety, legal and company standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment at all times
• Track and report on production performance using KPIs
• Provide regular training, guidance, and communication to team members to maximise performance
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift briefings to promote clear communication and teamwork
• Manage materials, equipment and resources to ensure smooth and efficient production flow
• Support quality assurance to achieve "Right First Time" standards across all products
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
• Ability to achieve planned production and yield targets
• Consistent delivery of quality standards and first-time accuracy
• Strong team leadership with a focus on engagement, low turnover, and reduced absenteeism
• Commitment to Health & Safety compliance, minimising accidents and near misses
• Experience maintaining up-to-date risk assessments and appraisals
