Production Operatives in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Food Production Operative to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Food Production Operative our client is offering:

• £12.71 per hour
• Rotating 5:30-1:30/2-10 shifts Monday to Friday
• Temporary holiday cover - 2 weeks from 1st September
• Immediate starts available for the right candidates
• Overtime available and paid at T1/2

The Role - Food Production Operative;

• Packing 
• Palletising 
• Unboxing products 
• Heavy lifting up to 20kg
• Quality checking
• Performing safety start-up checks for machinery and your work area.
• Following food and hygiene regulations on site
• Working with a team of around 6-8 people
• Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product.
• Working within an ambient temperature production environment (between 3-5o'c)

What our client is looking for in a Food Production Operative;

• Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
• Must have picking/ packing/ palletising experience- ESSENTIAL
• Experience on bag label machines- DESIRABLE
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG -ESSENTIAL
• Must be available to cover the full 2 week period
