Production Operative in Shropshire, West Midlands

DUE TO THE LOCATION YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE/ HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORT 

For the successful Production Operative, our client is offering:

• £13.92 per hour 
  
• Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, must be flexible to cover an earlier shift/ afternoons when required
• Temporary - Permanent opportunity for the right candidate!
• Additional courses available including First Aid, telehandler and FLT licences) and other suitable courses.
• Quarterly bonus after 6 months
• Yearly bonus - Once permanent
• Additional Holidays accrued yearly from 28 days per annum to 33 - Once Permanent

The role: Production Operative:

• Reporting to the Team Leader as you will be responsible for assisting in all production tasks
• Cleaning the factory / production areas with power washing equipment
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic work environment with the provided tools
• Assist with the production duties when required
• Use of a jet wash 
• Washing down the machines 
• Tidying areas of the business 
• Flexibility assistant the process operating team on the main production line, as and when required
• Manual Handling
• Unpacking food from outer packaging in a timely and efficient manner

What our client is looking for in a Industrial Cleaner:

• Proven experience in a fast paced and/or food based production - ESSENTIAL
• FLT Licence- Preferred 
• Able to work from using own initiative
• Methodical approach to work
• Physically fit
• Good organisation skills
