Production Flt Operative in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for a Forklift/ Production Operative to work in their leading facility in Hortonwood.  

For the successful Forklift / Production Operative, our client is offering:

• Starting rate of £13.34 per hour
• Days position 8:15am - 4:45pm - 40 hours per week
• Temporary - Permanent position
• Free parking

The role – Forklift/ Production Operative:

• Using a machine to develop the product
• Production of the circuit board 
• Using a bonding press
• Laying up laminates into a package and placing into the press
• Forklift driving 
• Unloading materials from the racking
• Adjusting the temperature on the machine
• Monitoring the pressure on the machine
• Visual inspection
• General warehousing/ stores 
• Processing the product through the machine
• Checking quality
• Manual handling as will involve lifting products at times
• Stripping layers imaged using a dry film

What our client is looking for in a Forklift/ Production Operative;

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL 
• Manufacturing experience
• FLT Counterbalance Licence - Essential
• Must be able to lift up 20kg daily.
• Stable work history
• Knowledge/Awareness of Manual Handling as Lifting will be involved
