What you will do

  • Develop comprehensive Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHC Plans) that align with the needs and aspirations of children and young people under your care.
  • Ensure that amended EHC Plans are clear, legally sound, and outcome-focused in compliance with the Children and Families Act and SEND Code of Practice.
  • Engage with multi-agency professionals to coordinate effective EHC assessments and provide accurate technical support to parents.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity in all SEND proceedings.
  • Support parents and carers throughout their assessment journey, offering guidance and ensuring the delivery of timely and efficient services.
  • Record and manage data effectively as per Medway Council's protocols to ensure compliance and accuracy in all SEND processes.
