Recruit4staff are representing an established business in their search for a Paint Preparation Technician to work in Wirral

Job Details:

• Pay: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
• Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 42.5-hour week
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Standard pension, 28 days holiday, free parking, overtime paid at x1.5

Job Role: As a Paint Preparation Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all metal surfaces are properly prepared prior to painting. Your work will involve sanding, grinding, and polishing various components, operating blasting equipment, and applying primers to achieve a high-quality finish. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with great attention to detail and experience in surface preparation.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Experience in surface preparation techniques
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQs in vehicle repair (any level)
• NVQs in Engineering disciplines
