Beluga Rox our seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to join our clients growing team in there Childrens services. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring our client's services across the Northwest provide exceptional care and support to young people, empowering them to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership, management, and direction to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained for all children and young people as outlined in The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
The role…..
- Oversee the quality of care and support, ensuring it meets and exceeds the standards and expectations contained in its Statement of Purpose and adheres to Ofsted requirements.
- Ensure continual quality improvement to achieve and maintain Ofsted Outstanding/Good.
- Lead on safeguarding matters, prioritizing the safety and well-being of young people and staff.
- Manage escalated risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies including safeguarding
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and key agencies, securing the best outcomes for young people and promoting our clients services.
- Provide inspirational leadership and support to staff at all levels, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard, promoting health and safety for all.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Support the development and training needs of your teams.
What you need for this role….
- You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above.
- hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's Services.
- attention to detail and never compromise on quality because you know that focusing on the success of small things can add up to have a really big positive impact.
- You're passionate that children and young people should have equal opportunities, a voice that should be heard and they should be enabled to create their own bright futures.
- Have a growth mindset to join us on our continuous improvement journey. This will include demonstrating innovation, passion for your role, and a child focussed approach.
- be an effective communicator, and lead to inspire the home’s Registered Manager’s and other peers within the organisation.
- It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
