An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Adults with Physical and Learning Disabilities Team in Enfield. This full-time ongoing locum role offers a competitive rate of up to £27.71 per hour and provides the chance to work in a community-based setting supporting adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.
You will work closely with Occupational Therapists and other professionals to deliver high-quality assessments and interventions that promote independence and improve quality of life.

What You Will Do

Carry out community-based assessments for adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and other professionals to support service users’ needs.

Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist.

Support service users with activities to improve independence and daily living skills.

Monitor, document, and report progress, adapting interventions as required.

Contribute to high-quality, person-centred care planning and service delivery.
Requirements

Relevant qualification and/or registration appropriate to the Occupational Therapy Assistant role.

Experience working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in health or social care settings.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as community travel is essential.

Experience working with adults with physical disabilities and/or learning disabilities.

Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
