What you will do:

  • Deliver front-line occupational therapy services efficiently and safely within the Learning Disabilities and Autism/Mental Health directorate.

  • Support triage processes and collaborate closely with health and social care to streamline services and minimise OT waiting lists.

  • Partner with external care providers to ensure correct and safe execution of moving and handling tasks.

  • Conduct reviews of care packages to guarantee the best value of services for Adult Social Care and optimal utilisation of available equipment.

  • Assess and review double-handed care packages, waking night, and other care packages.

  • Provide mutual aid to other OT areas as needed, ensuring comprehensive support across services.

  • Conduct timely OT assessments and reviews across the directorate to maintain high standards of care.

Applicants must be HCPC registered, and being a car driver is beneficial for this role to facilitate travel across various locations effectively.
