What you will do:
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the guidance of a pharmacist.
- Accurately maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide medication-related advice to patients and healthcare staff, enhancing patient safety and support.
- Manage pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy law, regulation, and standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
- Must have current GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Proven experience working in a UK-based pharmacy setting, ideally within a hospital environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification.
