Band 5 District Nurse - Bridgnorth Hospital, UK
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 District Nurse locum position at Bridgnorth Hospital. Earn competitive rates of £21 per hour on weekdays, £26 per hour on Saturdays and nights, and £31 per hour on Sundays and bank holidays. This initial two-month contract offers flexible working with a full-time block booking available. Enjoy a versatile schedule with either a four long day week or five shorter day options, such as 08:00-16:00, 08:30-16:30 or 10:00-18:00.

What you will do:
– Deliver high-quality and personalised care to patients within the community setting.
– Provide complex wound care, including Doppler compression, and manage simple wound care needs efficiently.
– Offer compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and families.
– Administer medications with precision and care, ensuring patient safety and health.
– Perform catheterisation for male, female, and suprapubic needs with expertise.
– Provide bowel care with attention to patient dignity and comfort.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements of the District Nurse:
- RGN qualified/NMC registered with valid live pin
- Recent UK nursing experience
- Must have Community/District nursing experience
