• Early: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:00pm | Friday 6:00am–11:30am

• Late: Monday–Thursday 2:00pm–10:00pm | Friday 11:30am–5:00pm

• Nights: Monday–Thursday 10:00pm–6:00am | Friday 5:00pm–10:30pm

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established international manufacturing business based in Thatcham.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping a wide range of production machinery running efficiently, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs to maximise reliability, minimise downtime and maintain production performance.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or above

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work proactively and effectively in a busy production environment

• Comfortable carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance

Desirable Experience

• PLC fault-finding experience

• Siemens S5/S7

• Allen Bradley RSLogix 500

• Experience working on automated manufacturing or packaging machinery

• Multi-skilled mechanical maintenance knowledge

Machinery You'll Work On

The site operates a wide range of specialist packaging manufacturing equipment, including:

• Corrugators

• Flexo-folder gluers

• Flat-bed die cutters

• Boilers

• Strappers and wrappers

• Roller and flat-bed conveyors

• Automated production equipment
