Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Prestbury

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Shift: Monday - Friday (Days and Nights 12 hours) No weekend work and a lot of time off between shifts

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience - Electrical bias preferred
• At least 3 years hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Multi Skilled with an electrical bias
• Electrically able to work on sensors, motors, relays, drives etc.
• Able to fault find on PLC's (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
• Understanding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to work from Engineering drawings
• Technical fault finding skills

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Completed a full apprenticeship - NVQ Level 3. However will consider candidates with good experience with other engineering qualifications
