MECHANICAL DAY TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Old Trafford, Greater Manchester

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday days with a call out 1 week every quarter (paid 5% of salary)

Job Role of the Mechanical Day Technician:

A standout opportunity has become available for a high-performing Mechanical Technician to join a successful manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who is passionate about reliability, continuous improvement, and driving maintenance excellence within a fast-paced production environment.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience working within a heavy industrial environment or FMCG as a Mechanical Technician
• Good experience with SAP (or a similar CMMS system)
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification / apprentice trained
• A self-driven individual, who is not afraid to challenge and suggest improvements
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Day Technician:

• HNC Engineering qualification
• Experience managing contractors
