MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Circa £66,500 + bonus up to 12% (paid quarterly) + benefits
Shift: Days (Mon–Thu 7:30am–4:00pm / Fri 7:30am–2:00pm)

Job Role of the Maintenance Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity has come to market for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established site within a heavy industrial / power generation environment. This position offers a great mix of leadership, planning and supervision with some hands-on involvement, supporting a multi-skilled engineering team and driving structure, process and best practice across maintenance.

You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating day-to-day electrical maintenance activity, ensuring plant reliability, performance and safety standards are consistently achieved. The role also offers clear progression, with the current Maintenance Manager expected to retire in the coming years—making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step up into management.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor

• Electrical qualification (hands-on or degree route considered)
• Supervisory / leadership experience within an industrial engineering environment

Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor

• Experience managing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
• Strong H&S mindset (NEBOSH / IOSH desirable)
• Comfortable working with / around heavy plant equipment and coordinating contractors
• Desirable experience with 11kV systems, HV switching, permits, thermal plant processes, SCADA, switchgear (beneficial, not essential for every candidate)
