Maintenance Engineer in Telford, West Midlands

For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering;

• Salary of up to £44,446.80 (£37,039 + 20% Shift Allowance)
• 3 week shift rotation Week 1 – Sunday 11.00pm to 6.00am Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am / Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 10.00pm Friday 1.00pm to 8.00pm / Week 3 – Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.00pm Friday 6.00am to 1.00pm

The Role of the Maintenance Engineer;

• Maintain all production equipment to provide optimum functionality
• Urgently attend breakdowns and diagnose and repair equipment using the appropriate equipment & tools
• Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks
• Fault finding
• Ensure machine/production lines downtime is kept to a minimum
• Supporting Operators / Apprentices with any issues that may arise
• Carrying out continuous improvement activities - IE Investigation, proposing and implementing improvements / ideas
• Working in line with the company budget
• Carrying out modifications where necessary

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer;

• Mechanical / Electrical experience - Multi skilled
• Experience working within a FMCG environment
• HNC / HND / NVQ Level 4 as a minimum in Engineering - ESSENTIAL
