Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hull

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 with overtime available

Shift: Monday to Friday

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing plastics manufacturing business. The company has continued to invest heavily in its production facility, machinery, and engineering team, creating a modern working environment with a strong focus on reliability, continuous improvement, and employee development.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to machinery breakdowns, and supporting the ongoing performance and efficiency of a wide range of production equipment. You will work on both electrical and mechanical systems while playing an active role in continuous improvement projects.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) - HNC/NVQ/Desire preffered
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Experience working with manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.

Desirable for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience within the plastics manufacturing industry.
Experience with PLC fault finding using inputs and outputs.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extrusion, injection moulding, or associated plastics processing equipment.
