Job Title: Laundry Engineer
Location: Feltham
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

Job Role of the Laundry Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy industrial laundry site in Feltham.

The successful Laundry Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a wide range of industrial laundry machinery and site equipment.

Sector – Industrial Laundry / Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Laundry Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing, production or factory environment
• Hands-on experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced industrial environment

Requirements for the Laundry Engineer

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
• Engineering qualification – Electrical or Mechanical
• Previous experience working within an industrial, manufacturing or production environment
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Confident responding to machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an engineering team
• Happy to work a 4 on 4 off Days and Nights shift pattern

Desirable Requirements for the Laundry Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Laundry Engineer in the UK
• Previous experience within an industrial laundry environment
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault find using inputs and outputs
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
