Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
Location: Chester
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A standout opportunity has become available for a high-performing Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing facility in Chester. With major investment recently completed, this fast-paced site provides an excellent environment for engineers looking to develop both their electrical and mechanical skillsets and build a long-term career, including clear progression routes into senior and management roles.

You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and minimising downtime across the site.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience (electrical and mechanical) within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced production setting

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Recognised electrical and/or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Experience within the UK manufacturing sector
• 17th/18th Edition (if electrical bias is strong)
