Machine Operator in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Stafford Park, Telford.

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering:

• Starting salary of £26,208 per annum
• Rotating Mornings & Afternoons - 37.5 hours per week (5:50am - 1:40pm and 1:25-9:25pm)
• Permanent Position

The Role - Machine Operator

• Running machines within a busy manufacturing area
• Supporting the Setter with the running of machinery
• Working from drawings
• Checking the quality of products as they're being manufactured
• Ensuring machines are running correctly
• Performing basic maintenance tasks and escalating where required
• Completing paperwork
• Complying with H&S at all times
• Loading/Unloading machines with required products
• Performing change overs

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• Mechanical/Manufacturing experience - ESSENTIAL
• Machine/Press Operating experience within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment - ESSENTIAL
• Ideally have an FLT Licence but not essential
• Technically minded
