Junior Soc Analyst in Nottingham, East Midlands

As a Junior SOC (Security Operations Centre) Analyst, you'll support the monitoring and protection of business systems, helping to identify security threats and keep critical financial data secure. This role offers hands-on exposure to cyber security operations, security monitoring tools, and incident management processes.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Security Monitoring

• Monitor security alerts and system activity.
• Identify unusual behaviour and escalate potential threats.
• Assist with the investigation of security incidents.

Threat Detection

• Review logs and security reports.
• Help identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Support security testing and compliance activities.

Security Operations

• Maintain incident records and documentation.
• Support cyber awareness initiatives across the business.
• Assist in implementing security controls and best practices.
