Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join Surrey County Council on an interim basis. As part of the council’s ongoing digital transformation, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and accurate data transitions within the new Unit4 ERP environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities between legacy and new ERP systems.

• Design and execute data templates and validation tools using Unit4 import/export utilities to maintain data integrity.

• Support testing phases, validating data accuracy and resolving migration-related issues.

• Produce detailed technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to internal IT teams.

• Uphold data quality assurance, audit traceability, and compliance throughout all project stages.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven expertise in data migration within Unit4 ERP environments.

• In-depth understanding of data mapping, cleansing, and transformation processes.

• Strong working knowledge of Unit4 data frameworks and import/export tools.

• Familiarity with SQL and other data migration utilities.

• Awareness of public sector data governance and compliance standards.
