What you will do:

Chair and manage meetings for looked after children and young people, ensuring their care plans meet individual needs
Monitor and review the implementation of care plans, making sure that the statutory requirements are met
Advocate for the child or young person to ensure their voice is heard and their welfare is prioritized
Collaborate with multi-agency teams to evaluate and refine practices and procedures
Report and escalate any safeguarding concerns to relevant authorities swiftly and effectively

Requirements of the Independent Reviewing Officer:

Holding a degree or equivalent in social work
Current registration with Social Work England
Extensive frontline experience in UK Social Services, particularly as an Independent Reviewing Officer
