Groundworker in Wallyford

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – Groundworker (Dumper/Roller)

Location – East Edinburgh (Wallyford/Musselburgh)

Salary/Rate – £18 - £19.75 depending on pay scheme

Duration – Immediate starts avaliable, ongoing work 

Overview:

Looking for groundworkers to work with a groundworks contractor servicing new build and residential sites. Should be comfortable with all aspects of groundworks including drainage, foundation installtion, ducting, slabbing. Also have experience operating plant, ideally Dumper and Roller. 

Duties:

• Full understanding of duties required for ground works.
• Capable of working to instruction with minimal supervision as part of a team.
• Experience in the site preparation for, bases, foundations and trenches.
• Understanding of drainage, kerbing and slabbing.
• Understanding of working in and around plant.
• Experience in excavating foundations.
• A high level of HSQE awareness.

Required Qualifications:

- CSCS (Blue NVQ LVL 2 Groundworker Card)

- CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper 

- CPCS/NPORS Roller
