Are you a recent English graduate with a 1st or 2:1 degree who’s passionate about education and considering a future in teaching?
A Good graded, mid-sized Community Secondary School in Woodford, East London is seeking a talented Graduate Teaching Assistant (English) to join their welcoming and supportive team.

The Role:

• Support students in English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3–5

• Work alongside experienced English teachers to deliver engaging lessons

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to help raise attainment and confidence

• Gain valuable classroom experience ahead of teacher training

• Opportunity to progress to salaried teacher training (September 2025) leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

The Candidate:

• A recent English graduate with a minimum 2:1 or First-Class degree

• Strong academic background with matching A levels and GCSEs

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passionate about inspiring young people through literature and language

• Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic about pursuing a teaching career
