Role Highlights

In this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will:

  • Earn up to £570 per week while working full-time, term-time only

  • Support children aged 4-11 with various SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH challenges

  • Receive full training to develop essential skills in SEN support

  • Gain invaluable experience for future careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or SEN teaching

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

  • Supporting students with SEN during lessons and in one-to-one or small group interventions

  • Assisting with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and developing personalized learning strategies

  • Creating an inclusive, calm classroom environment that promotes emotional regulation and builds student confidence

  • Encouraging the development of communication skills, social interaction, and self-esteem

  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide tailored support for each child
