WHAT'S THE PROJECT?

The project is that you bring your talent and your ambition to a global leader in urban mobility uniting decades of innovation to make cities more livable. Operating across more than 90 countries and 20,000 cities, this international tech group combines smart parking platforms, sensor technology, and digital payment systems to streamline urban travel for millions of daily users. Joining an ambitious UK Operations team, you will be part of a collaborative, safety-focused culture dedicated to keeping essential city infrastructure running smoothly every single day.

AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?

As Field Service Technician, you will be the face of the UK Operations team across the Manchester region, taking full ownership of your territory to keep physical mobility hardware and smart terminal infrastructure operating at peak performance.

* Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and complex technical repairs on smart parking terminals, sensor technology, and mobility hardware
* Manage your regional territory autonomously to consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs) and maximize city-wide uptime
* Collaborate directly with the central technical support team to report hardware performance and share real-time insights on local infrastructure challenges
* Log all site visits, parts used, and technical resolutions accurately using a mobile workforce management application
* Champion safety standards by adhering to all health and safety protocols while operating in public urban environments

OK, AND WHAT DO YOU NEED?

* Proven track record in a field service or mobile technical role (electrical, mechanical, or hardware maintenance background)
* Strong hands-on technical diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues independently
* Proficiency with digital tools and mobile apps for real-time reporting and task management
* Valid UK driving license with the confidence to navigate the Manchester metropolitan area efficiently
* Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset for interacting with local community partners

THAT'S IT?

You're a proactive problem solver who loves the variety and autonomy of working on the move rather than behind a desk. You take pride in quality craftsmanship, stay curious about learning new technologies, and bring a collaborative, dependable energy to keeping urban transportation moving smoothly.
